Apart from touring with Carl Barron through regional Australia, Matt Elsbury has headlined shows in his own right in Melbourne and Sydney as well as appearing on the ABC and on Foxtel’s the comedy channel.
Based in Melbourne, Matt is a veteran of six Melbourne International Comedy Festivals with shows including “Dark Side of the Mirrorball”, “The Lost Shakespeare” “English, and how it is talked” and “Matt vs The Music World”.

Matt was able to read the room really well and catered to our very diverse audience with great ease. The games that he included in the middle of each round offered great audience participation and comic relief. Comedy trivia was a great option as entertainment for our function as many of the guests didn’t know each other and this gave a real opportunity for people to interact with each other. The crowd came in as strangers and left as friends!
