In 1985 at the age of 15 Haskel started his comedy career at Sydney’s Original Comedy Store. Now it’s 2012 let’s fill in the gaps! Haskel was the resident comedian on Tonight Live with Steve Vizard and featured many times on the iconic Hey Hey it’s Saturday toured nationally and internationally as a club and corporate comic. His 2nd release Bowlin’ Shane, a comedy tribute to the world cricket scene reached 26 on the ARIA Top 40 Nationally.
TELEVISION – Tonight Live with Steve Vizard, Hey Hey It’s Saturday, The Midday Show with all three hosts (Ray Martin, Derryn Hinch and Kerri-Anne), Good Morning Australia, All Star Squares, The Today Show, The Main Event, The Comedy Channel, Channel V, MTV, RAGE!!! Video Hits, BBC’s Backstage (UK + Worldwide), Liverpools Entertainment This Week (UK), The list goes on…………
He has even interviewed former Heavyweight boxing Champion of the World Evander Hollyfield for CNN. (Well, he was a caller that got through to Larry King Live and asked the champ a question!)
RADIO- A regular on Austereo’s MartinMalloy, Ugly Phils Hot 30 (nationally + UK), Nova969, MMM Nationally, 3AW, 2BL, JJJ, 4ZZZ, 2UE, 2SM, 2KY, 2DAY FM, Fox FM, Gold FM ……. Yeah alright just about all of ’em! Including WYONG FM.

We raised over $10,000 from the night, which was a fantastic result – and yes, Haskel’s games throughout the night certainly contributed to the overall fundraising total. The Homer Simpson V George Bush game of heads and tails was certainly a favourite of many of the punters!
