For the 3rd year running….We would just like to thank you for an excellent Trivia Night. Wayne proved once again to be an excellent Trivia host, and was both appropriate for our work function and accommodating of our multiple special requests. Last Thursday trivia afternoon went very well. Ever wondered what happened to that guy who used to get sent out of class after making a wise-crack that put the rest of us in hysterics? Well, his name was Wayne and he combined the laughs with a few facts from wikipedia and put together a first class trivia night.
The night started with a couple puns to test the waters, but before long we were having a rollicking time, with no-one safe from quips and embarrassing party games. Starting with easy questions, trivia was also a hoot; points were given to the funniest answers as well as the correct ones, and by the end of the night even the best trivia buffs were tested. The night ran smoothly, we were constantly entertained and team bonding was the winner on the night. The 80 of us that went sure had plenty of amusing recollections in the office on Monday!

We were absolutely thrilled with Wayne Dixon for our fundraising event on Saturday 27 June. He ran the night just perfectly and understood our requirements and performed wonderfully.

I am writing to thank you for your support of the Peter’s Family Fundraising Comedy Trivia Evening and Silent Auction held on 30 April 2010. The evening was a great success, over $52,000 was raised and the 450 people who attended enjoyed an entertaining evening.
Many people have told me how much they enjoyed the evening and what an upbeat and talented host Haskel was. The full range of those present from my senior colleagues to my 17 year old son enjoyed his games and commentary. People specifically remarked about Haskel’s talents in engaging a broad audience in an intelligent and humorous evening. I received a lot of positive feedback about the Homer Simpson game, everyone loved it. I would also like to note Haskel’s skill at managing a large audience and facilitating a quick mood shift to pick up the tone and energy of the evening after a slow start. I would have no hesitation in recommending Haskel for future events and hope I will have the opportunity to use him in the future.
The proceeds from the fundraiser have assisted the Peters’ to purchase and modify a home in Dubbo where they will start to build their new life as a family. I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Peters’ family to thank you for your valuable contribution.
